One of my favorite breakfast plates 🥰
About 80g Chobani nonfat plain Greek Yogurt topped w/ 20g of one of my favorite sugar-free granolas: Seven Sundays Rise and Shine mix strawberry banana nut. Add two kiwis (skin on) and about 130g strawberry. For my
I’m egg I used avocado cooking spray from target instead of butter!
You may look at this and think “ew she left the skin on those kiwis.” Yes yes I did. Eating the kiwi skin may seem unappealing if you’ve never given it a try but the skin is actually my favorite part of the fruit. There’s also a range of health benefits it has for you:
1. the skin is rich in antioxidants in higher concentration than in the rest of the fruit
2. It’s chock-full of fiber resulting in a healthier gut and better digestion
3. It’s skin can give YOU better skin. Filled with vitamin E it’ll give you a healthy glow.
I like to measure out everything I make for myself just so I can get a better idea of how much I’m putting into my body. I give myself ideal portion sizes for my height weight and age- mainly because I have a tendency to eat everything on my plate. Today’s breakfast was roughly 354 calories according to @myfitnesspal including 18g of protein which is about my goal. But I encourage you to do what’s healthy for you. If tracking your macros and counting calories isn’t right for your personal journey- don’t do it! I never starve myself or deny myself food when my body tells me I need it. If I need to go over my “limit” for the day then so be it. Hunger cues are there for a reason so fuel your body!
