sage and butter gnocchi for dinner a few nights ago 🍝

usually I’ll make quinoa or chickpea pasta for carbs but I just couldn’t help myself from making this dish 🙂

recipe:
-I used the Dellalo potato gnocchi. I brought a pot about 3/4 way full of water to a boil and added a few tablespoons of salt
-once the water is brought to a boil add the gnocchi. Once the gnocchi float to the top of the water you can take the gnocchi off the burner
-in the meantime I made a sage-butter based sauce… to do this I melted 6 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir until the butter turns a light brown/yellow color. Then remove from heat.
-once the gnocchi is ready put the butter back on the medium low heat this time and add the gnocchi. Add 1/3 cup of fresh sage (I cut into small pieces) and black pepper and enjoy!

I highly recommend this pasta for a filling dinner ! 😇
